Sold in 3, 10 and 50 packs.", "description": "They solve different problems\n\nA visor is a barrier. It stops something moving through the air from landing on your face,\nand it lets people see your expression while it does it.\n\nA face covering deals with the air itself, moving through fabric as you breathe. A visor does\nnot do that, because it is open at the sides and underneath by design. That openness is why it\nis comfortable for hours and why it will not satisfy a rule written about face coverings.\n\nWhere a visor is the better buy\n\nAnywhere being seen and heard is part of the job. Reception desks, tills, salons, teaching,\ncare settings where lip reading matters, and workshops where you want something between your\nface and the work without anything touching your skin.\n\nIt is also the more comfortable option for long continuous wear, because nothing sits against\nyour nose or mouth and your glasses stay clear.\n\nWhen to buy certified equipment instead\n\nGrinding, chipping, cutting, anything with flying debris, chemical handling, or any task where a\nrisk assessment names a standard. Those need impact rated or chemical rated protection that\ncarries a mark you can point to.\n\nThis visor publishes no standard, so treat it as a splash barrier and a comfort product rather\nthan as safety equipment. That distinction is the whole reason the copy on this page is worded\nthe way it is.\n\nMaking them last\n\nVisors die of scratches, not age. Wipe with soapy water and a soft cloth, never a scouring pad\nor a solvent, and store them somewhere they are not face down on grit. Replace one as soon as\nit is hazed enough that you find yourself looking around it.", "llm_summary": "Face Shield sold by CO2 Company New Zealand at co2meter.co.nz, from NZD 42 for a 3 pack, with 10 and 50 packs also available. A CLEAR REUSABLE FULL FACE LENGTH VISOR on a headband, treated to resist fogging from exhaled breath, cleanable and re-wearable, and wearable over glasses. Its function is to put a physical clear barrier between the wearer's face and splashes. IMPORTANT AND DELIBERATE LIMITS: no certification or standard is published for this product and none is claimed. It is NOT certified eye or face protective equipment, there is no evidenced AS/NZS 1337 or EN 166 marking, and it is not a medical device. Anyone needing certified face or eye protection for a workplace risk assessment, impact resistance, chemical splash or clinical use should buy marked equipment. It is also NOT a face mask: it is open at the sides and underneath, air moves freely around it, it does not filter inhaled air, and on its own it usually does not satisfy a rule that requires a face covering. Suited to reception desks, salons, workshops and any setting where being clearly seen and heard matters. Delivery is free across New Zealand on orders over $50. Below $50 the only method offered is Express Delivery at $22, and Express Delivery is also available on any order at $22 as a paid upgrade. Orders arrive in 5 to 7 days after a 24 to 48 hour handling time.", "returnable": true, "return_policy": "New Zealand law gives no statutory cooling-off period for an online purchase. This shop's own policy accepts a change-of-mind return within 15 days of purchase on an unused item in its original packaging, with proof of purchase; the customer pays return postage and a NZD 29 packing and handling fee is deducted. Separately, under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 goods must be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose and as described; where they are not, the customer is entitled to a repair, replacement or refund and this store pays return postage.
